BIOCHAR OILS
Pyrolysis Oil
Also known as bio-crude or bio-oil, is a synthetic fuel substitute for petroleum (under investigation). It remains an interesting source of biochemicals and renewable compounds with significant market interest.
Pyrolysis Oil is obtained by heating dried biomass without oxygen in a reactor at a temperature of about 500 °C with subsequent cooling. Pyrolysis oil is a kind of tar that is a blend of molecules usually consisting of more than 200 different compounds resulting from the depolymerization of products treated in pyrolysis

Wood Vinegar
Commonly known as pyroligneous acid or wood vinegar, this liquid compound is produced through the precisely controlled pyrolysis of wood biomass. Utilizing shredded lumber waste as feedstock, the pyrolysis process yields high-quality, value-added oils with a wide range of applications, including use as natural food flavorings, plant protection agents, and growth enhancers

BIOCHAR Energy Solutions
Syngas
Syngas, or Synthetic Natural Gas. We produce Syngas as a byproduct when producing Biochar through pyrolysis of dry shredded lumber waste. Syngas is combustible and can be used as a fuel for internal combustion engines to run turbines to generate electricity.
Syngas is a crucial intermediate resource for producing hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, and synthetic petroleum for fuel or lubricant.

BIOCHAR’S ENTERPRISES SOLUTIONS
Our Biochar, produced in chunks form by subjecting plant residues from forest biomass to a thermolysis-type heat treatment, represents an extraordinary source of alternative and non-polluting energy.
Because of it’s greater calorific value than most fuels, Mineral Coal, unfortunately, still occupies a significant share in combustion recipes of metallurgic, cement, hydroelectric power plants, and other sectors requiring high input of thermal power.
Our Biochar, on the other hand, competes wonderfully with Mineral Coal, surpassing its calorific value. Recent laboratory tests that we carried out in April 2023 in collaboration with the cement industry, reveal that our Biochar has in most cases, an advantage of 1 to 5 Gigajoules in thermal power over mineral coal. (Biochar: 31-33 GJ – Mineral Carbon: 26-30 GJ). Alternative energy is the way of the future to transition to the green economy
